Charleston wedding for the win. Charleston is home to some of the most amazing wedding venues in the country. The Cedar Room did not disappoint. Katie and Jon chose Charleston as their destination, partly because Jon is a chef. They knew that wherever they started their happily ever after, there had to be some award winning cuisine. Charleston’s food has its place in the culinary world. The spectacular array of choices made The Cedar Room a top choice.
Katie and Jon found The Cedar Room and immediately fell in love. The exposed brick, outdoor space for cocktail hour and the chance of having mild weather in November was an added bonus. The opportunity to utilize the rooftop for some amazing portraits was also a plus.
Here you can see that they wanted this day to be about them. They allowed time for a full portrait session and all of the pictures were done prior to the ceremony, thanks to an amazing first look.
