Bridal Shoots

A Cold Winter’s Day

It was so cold on the morning of this shoot! I checked the weather the week before and decided to take our chances! The night before, I received a call asking if I knew it was going to be freezing and of course I did, but something told me that would work in our favor. I am so glad we forged ahead, what happened next was simply amazing.

We arrived at the scheduled time of opening, at this gorgeous North Carolina State Park, and no one was there. The sun was starting to peak through and I was filled with excitement. We forged ahead and was able to land all of the good spots without competition or interference!  It was 27 degrees when we started shooting and you would never know it, because this shoot was on fire!

Carver’s Creek State Park, I will definitely be back. Though I have no regrets about this day, next time I think I’ll wait for a bump in the temperature. 🙂
